GEORGE CARLIN RIP

On june 22, 2008 Carlin was admitted to St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California complaining of chest pain. He died later that day at 5:55 p.m. PDT of heart failure   at the age of 71.  He had a history of cardiovascular problems, including several heart attacks

IN CASE YOU'VE BEEN HIDING UNDER A ROCK


After all the build-up and hype and track leaks, Wale's The Mixtape About Nothingis finally here. It's mixed by Nick Catchdubs, and you've probably heard a couple songs already but that doesn't matter because now it is all here in one place and free. We were thinking about going off on a tangent about how mixtapes have become way too big a deal and that artists should focus on albums, but then we were like, You know what? This mixtape is awesome. And free. And there aren't nine million filler tracks, so it basically is an album, and what isn't great about that? If you already RSVP'd you know that tonight Wale and Catch are throwing a release party for this thing, and it will be completely packed and insane because why not? It's an event. For now, here's a download link for the whole thing in one convenient MP3, but we're sure when we get up to get a glass of water or something the track-by-track version will be posted.
